TELLURIDE
John has just returned from Telluride in Colorado presenting his new multimedia show Wild, Spirit in the Land. Telluride Mountain Film Festival is now in its 27th year of mountain films, talks and cultural exchange.

It has been 22 years since John first appeared as a guest at Telluride Mountain Film Festival when he won the Special Jury Award with his 3-projector slide-dissolve show Touch the Earth, A Celebration of Wild Places. Two USA tours followed and 5 years of UK tours brought his image-dissolve work to the forefront of the mountain world.

His new 40 minute multimedia presentation, Wild, Spirit in the Land, is now available for bookings by mountain and photography clubs and societies.

SHEFFIELD
John is presenting an illustrated slide talk and his new multimedia show Wild, Spirit in the Land at Sheffield Galleries on Thursday November 9th at 6.00pm as part of an exhibition at the Sheffield Galleries entitled Stone.

BANFF
In late October 2006, John will be presenting his multimedia show Wild, Spirit in the Land at Banff International Mountain Film Festival in Banff, Canada. John will also be one of the five international film judges at the Festival.

PENRITH
Wild, Spirit in the Land will be showing at Rheged Theatre in Penrith in early February 2007 as part of the BMC National Mountaineering Exhibition Lecture series.

Inspired by Nature

Since 2005 John has been experimenting with new media exhibiting his photographic works on large canvas panels. This project called Inspired by Nature is an ongoing series that is leading to collaboration with a range of photographic artists.
